although this thread is a bit silly, the people who keep saying anything negative is KNEE JERK LID need to shut the hell up. It's not knee jerk if it's constantly happening.

Exactly. It is perfectly legitimate to be displeased with conceding an average of 2 goals per game and sitting 4th from bottom in the league come mid-October.

Moderates please delete this poll - I voted positive for RM, but this I now realise is a bad error by the forum to put this up on a kneejerk reaction- DM got us off to worst starts never seen polls to be against him in his 11 years of tenure! he was a traitor in the end too!

The poll is asking whether RM should be binned on October 5 when half our key players have been injured. The same manager that took Everton to a fifth place finish last year. Knee jerk would be an overly kind description for this poll.

I'm not asking whether you want him binned.

I meant do you think he will turn this season round, something alot have questioned..

I'm bad at polls

I don't think you read what i typed at all. I said the thread was silly but then suggested any dismissal of negative comments towards martinez shouldn't be branded as knee jerk, because they're not.

Football doesn't live in the past mate it lives in the here and now, and the here and now isn't too pretty no matter what he did last season.

THIS season he has been terrible. In every aspect.

I have watched most games this season although we are not playing great at the moment we are not that bad either every time we make a mistake at the back we are getting punished for it there is nothing the manager can do about that constantly chasing games is not helping the situation lot of player out injured so it's not as though he can turn to the bench
once we get some players back and our luck will eventually even out we will be back up there

we are only 5 points from the top 4 despite not been brilliant, not as bad as been made to make out, injuries we have got to main players have not helped and woefull defending, but massive over reaction on eveything for me,few wins in a row if we can get them and the very good players back will see us moving up,not to mention some hard games we have had in 1st 7

We've played ten already and won two. Pre-season was a disaster. [Poor language removed] all seemed organised. We've got seven injured, midfield looks lost. Howard is off his head. I just hope we can get a few results in the coming weeks. Otherwise it will be a struggle. When you're down at the bottom panic sets in.
