Robertson's tackle on Allan

Did Robertson do something. Must have missed that. He seems such a jolly fellow that I find it hard to believe that he would intentionally kick Allan. Think the bbc, Itv, Sky and BT believe the same

...I didn’t think Mane’s clash with Digne was bad. To me, he clearly had his eyes on the ball.

The Robertson kick on Allan was simply that. It wasn’t a tackle, he kicked out and caught Allan. It genuinely could’ve resulted in injury. I’m sure I heard Martin Keown say “he’ll be in trouble here”. No action taken.
Keown did and I'm sure Mcmannam did as well

Hes out for 8 months smashed his ACL they are saying. These things happen in sport. Pickford isn't nasty regardless so he wouldn't of done it with malice not a chance hes just dense

....i think it safer to wait for the official injury report. I’d have my doubts it was as serious as that, surely they’d have carried him to the dressing room if they suspected it was ACL.

Its excruciating pain for a minute or two, then it’s almost nothing. You can walk and some can even run in a straight line, but can’t change direction at all
The pain if you stub your toe as well oh it hurts, i did mine once and didn't realise I had done it until I stubbed my toe, obviously it was only a minor tear but my god it was painful.

The VVD injury was worse because his studs gripped, so that contact didn't move his leg, resulting in damage to his knee. As with the Gomes ankle break, Jonjoe and Richarlison ankle injuries this season. The pitch may look wonderful all through the winter, but this partly synthetic pitch is causing injuries, and should be replaced.
Pickford did what any goalkeeper would do, a keeper having both feet off the floor in a challenge is not automatically out of control, unlike a fullback.
Going back to the late 1970,s being in the Horticulutural industry we used to accept orders for all the parks deliveries - turf always came in heavy cut rolls about 20 cm thick it was heavy layer interlocked with soil brushed in the zig zag joints etc.....
Then one day this turf came in a net meshing rolled up in massive rolls plus wider rolls - my nursery foreman inspected it very clever he stated , but it could never be used on any sports surface as spokes or studs cold get caught trapped in the netting ...
He was spot on ....how many injuries have we seen since it's invention .......far too many sometime well off the ball a stud sinks into the tight hole of the netting and the leg going in a different way knickers knee or ankle ligaments- Arteta at Newcastle springs to mind no one near him ......finished his career imo......
Cisssie for the otherlot at the old Maine road running and getting a double leg break ......same occurrence......
The new turf is quick plus easy to lay but the holes in the mesh are lethal imo......
Only fit for ornamental lawns ......

Guilty as hell. The snide was not even injured it was a pretence to save face.
First 5 minutes VVD clattered James then DCL. L'pool are a snidey team that gets away with it then cry like babies when it happens to them.
Was not even 5 minutes, he managed to do it in under a minute and a half.

only Bolasie could do that.

...it’s a good point. I’ve had plenty of ligament injuries and you’re able to walk in straight line with little or no discomfort. It is agony if you get a touch from the side.

I’ve never experienced an ACL, I just think if there was any doubt they’d have protected him in case he slipped getting back to the Portabin.

No action taken is a bit mild Eggs, looks like it never happened according to the Liverpool led media. Absolutely disgusting, not just the tackle, but also the way it is just brushed under the carpet.
