Didn't need to, we didn't concede a goal so he did his job. Bit of a strange comment.

Pickford is capable of great saves but a large number of "great saves" are because he has to recover from bad positioning and footwork.

I'd take steady over eccentric in the goalkeeping position every single time.
 
What stood out for me was that he didn't scream manically at the defence every time someone had a shot. Even when Vardy had a free header from 6 yards out he just got on with it.

Sure he didn't have much to do, but I do wonder whether the one begets the other.

I hope at somepoint Carlo sits Jordan and Robin down with the back four and asks who they prefer to defend in front of and why. Maybe some honesty hour assessments of Pickford's wacky attitude would make him a bit more chill.
 
Olsen was no nonsense. No trying to be clever, no grandstanding, he should start against Arsenal. But it’s a dilemma as I guess we want picks to be England no1 and cash in post euros ( a lot of assumptions but if we bench him his value drops)
