I look at it as this, would Pickford have saved any of those goals and the answer is no.

His only hope on the 1st is another Van Dijk moment on Cavani, the 2nd not a hope in the world he's getting near that and the 3rd he wouldn't have even reached that corner of the goal.

Is Olsen the answer long term, no. Potentially as a competition GK he's perfectly fine but is he the answer short term between him and Pickford, yes.

That said, that's the first poor game he's had for us so would be happy to stick by him and put him back in ahead of Pickford still.

He doesn’t appear to be able to kick it further than the half way line which put us under a lot of pressure especially in the first half.
