Still keep Olson for me made a few good saves and hasnt really had much of a run to get going.
One thing I think needs looking at is the goalkeeper's coaching , all are keepers are crap at coming off the line and it could be argued that pickford had gone backwards at the club, nothing lower down I have seen in the position seem any different either.
Hope brands carlo have a look at those positions as the standard has been far below what we need and has been for years.
Burnley for instance seem to churn out a decent standard of keepers.

I still feel more comfortable with him as our goalkeeper than Pickford.

He's more reliable.

We could've been 5 down before we equalised last night and not so sure they wouldn't have gone right through Pickford's hands like plenty of other shots this season.
I agree. But if we'd been beaten 5-4 last night I think the feeling today would be that he's let a fair few goals in all told and that we really need to get shut of Pickford and him and get a top class GK in ASAP.

Made some big saves last night early on which allowed us to get back into the game and go on and win it.

Long term he would not be my first choice. We have conceded 7 goals in just over 2 games which tells us its still an issue

I think if we as fans feel more comfortable with Olsen in goal, that must also be the view of the defenders.

So even if he's just as likely to let in any given shot as Pickford, any increase in confidence that the defence feels from his general demeanour (catching or punching with less drama, for instance) means he's the better choice.

I think Pickford's distribution - or any keeper's distribution - is an over-rated quality, personally. Shot-stopping and a calming influence on the defence are much more important.

Thought he did well. Provided the spring board for us to get back in the game by keeping us in the game. Forget the number of goals he conceded and look at the defence reverting to last season type defence. Never forget Big Nev conceding 7 goals for Wales and walking away with Motm award

Does not work like that it was not his fault. We have three players on the same opposition and we lost the header. Much like Man Utd fourth goal. Four players lost a header to one opposition. How on earth people blaming the keeper this is unbelievable.
Yeah but the defenders are not going to win every single header. That's not realistic. For a ball that is headed in the 6 year box, the keeper has to come out and claim it or if an attacker does get to it first, then there is no chance of it being saved. Yes, we could have defended it better, but the keeper has to come out and dominate for the first goal yesterday
