Not disputing what you're saying mate. But it would make all this friend/agent story completely fabricated. Why would the OP do that unless it was a complete wind up. He's been a member for years with no apparent history of wumming.

If he believes it to be trustworthy news then i would imagine the OP would want to share it with fellow blues so if it turns out to be true then it gives us all a lift ahead of the close season.

I am sure there has been members on here before who have shared info in good faith and not been right about it.

I wasn't actually questioning the OPs post mate. I was questioning your post which implied the OP got the information from the social media scam doing the rounds Or did I misunderstand your post?

That is the headline that it has been taken from yes. So if someone came across that and assumed it to be a real story before telling someone else who then wanted to share it on here then it would make sense how it ended up here in its own thread.

Not an ITK or wannabe but just been told that both Ross and Rom have signed new deals that will keep them at the club till 2022.
Hope its right, really good source (agent related)pretty sure he is genuine. Just to be clear not a big Barkley fan and also resigned to losing Rom until I was told this, you can check my posting history.
But this is a guy who told me about a month before Benitez was appointed at Newcastle that he would be their new manager and to put money on it and I gave him a dogs life for being full of it!

Just passing on what I believe to be genuine info, not ITK.

If the story related to one of the players I might have been inclined to have a bit more belief. But both of them signing, on the back of everything that's gone before, is just to good to be true. So I actually believe your assumption is probably correct

If ross signs then it will be in the next 4 days, possibly announced just after season ends. Rom if he did sign would be i imagine in July.

Which would queue the 'like a new signing' comments on here haha

Crazy thing is Romelu clearly believes what we all believe, contracts are just about money/increasing value - not guarantees. So if thats the case why doesnt he sign his £140k deal and still have his agent attract potential buyers ? I mean if its 1 year or 5 doesnt really matter ! Just pick up £140k a week while you wait. Every player has a price.

because everton like to ask for top dollar. If we do sign him up we will will want 90m+ with being tied down a few years

No he is not, info was given by a guy who as stated has been right before. No attempt at a wind up, had a few drinks last night and got a bit excited and posted on here which was a mistake haha, but the info is genuine so let's see what happens

Because then he would be tied to a contract with a buy out clause he doesn't agree with.
