The club can receive broadcast fees and merit payments but those must then be frozen. That feels significant? How can they run the club without broadcast fees? Will sky etc even be able to show their games?

Still, if you're a 30-something Chelsea fan you've had some brilliant days and memories, so I guess it's time to take some rough with all the smooth

Feel for the fans really as this isn't their fault, but I'm sure they enjoyed the good days so that's the trade-off I guess
