He'll still bankroll the club, just moving his name off the holding company, he's acting now because he supposedly going to be named on the next list of sanctions on Monday buy Liz Truss and he's been tipped off, so he's acting now to protect his asset.

Will he bankroll them though, or will they have to become self sufficient?

All I’ve been reading is that it’s going to be “Long and Painful”, in reference to Ukrainian citizens.

After all, they did Annex Crimea in 2014, 8 years on and they’re still fighting there and in Donbas, so I’d expect a long, long period for this, which is a shame, because Ukraine is a beautiful place.

According to Swiss Ramble he's pumped £350 million into the club the last 5 years, most of it though was to cover wages and losses during the pandemic.

Seems they are still reliant on him to bail them out.

Fairly certain he's only been in the UK once since 2018 which was towards the end of 2021.

It's funny really, very few football businesses are really self sufficient. It's quite a weak sector financially.

Career politician, hasnt a clue about politics, the world, history, economics.
