Chelsea will be fine. They'll rush through a sale, they're still one of the biggest commercial club's in world football.

Will more than likely end up operating like United and Arsenal do.

City and Newcastle will be the 2 that'll just stomp about freely spending whatever

Not so sure they will be fine. In as much as challenging anymore. At the moment. They are not a self sustainable business. The debt shows that.
Also with the new rules on loans, they are gonna have a horrendous wage bill. Especially if they can't sell.
You would think if they don't get sold, then they are gonna be in serious trouble. If they do get sold. Will the next owners pump money in,.or we gonna see a fire sale, to provide funds?

Dorries has said this morning that he can't profit from any sale - but she didn't say there can't be a sale. So clearly the sale will be completed and then the proceeds frozen. All of this is just temporary while they complete the sale. I'm sure it'll be completed in no time and certainly before the season ends, so not impacting the transfer window and allowing them an opportunity to extend contracts of the ones on bosmans if they've not already signed pre-contracts.

Not sure they can sell .. time will tell if the Govt want to introduce a "loophole" to enable them to do so.

Frozen assets usually are just that "frozen" in that they cannot be traded, sold or given away

Are Chelsea in any Cup competitions?

Taken from BBC, how is this in anyway a "way" to handle such a situation by our government, its like a public shaming via social media. Not sure I get why this is how we announce this sort of stuff.

Im not defending him in any way either. So much like we are obsessed with the "image" of doing the "right" thing rather than just doing it quietly in the background. After all it just gives Abramovich more publicity!

Baffled

Sanctions against Abramovich

This is how the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office publicised on social media details of sanctions against Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and six other oligarchs.

it's not looking good for them is it. But they will find a way out of it. The super 6 are untouchable and will remain that way no doubt.

Chelsea fans finally having a anti war protest against Russia, right?
