So Morata to Milan, Aubameyang to PSG, Griezmann staying put.
Which leaves United with only Rashford as a striker going into the season. Their options are Lacazette (a level below what they want), Mbappe (€130m for a 19 year old when their other striker is a kid too seems unlikely), or Lukaku. Guess they better pay up.

Belotti too but I take your point. If they truly have moved on from Griezmann than I imagine Lukaku will be their main target.
Why do you want to sell? No Lukaku = bottom half
It seems like the two outcomes are, Milan get Belotti and United get Morata and Rom stays put, or Milan get Morata and United have the choice between paying Belotti's 100m release clause (only valid for non-Italian clubs apparently) or paying what we ask for Lukaku. We're in a strong position either way.

We would buy a new striker, I would sell for top money. I can't stand another year of the media talking about were he's going every 5 minutes.
From January to end of the season it would be a nightmare, he's downed tools this season so wait till the end of next year with a World Cup to play in.

I don't want to sell. As irritating as the Lukaku saga is every summer i'd much rather we kept him because we are a better team with him. But he doesn't want to be here, he isn't signing a new contract so he'll be going. Maybe we'll play hard ball this summer and no-one meets our valuation and we lose him next summer when we have no choice but to sell. Maybe goes this summer and we get a decent fee but baring a massive u-turn he's future is not here.
And why does no Rom = bottom half? I'm sure the stats showed even without his goals we would have finished 7th. The gap between us and 8th was massive. We'd need to replace him and it may take 2-3 players to replace his goals but who knows, maybe different strikers would create more goals from our midfield? improve the team overall. Again i'd like Rom to sign a new deal and stay but he isn't the be all and end all.
He might still be here, he just won't be playing because we'll be still trying to drain every single penny we can from the buying club
