Well this sucks, I do wonder how far along his exit is though as for all the hate our board receives you'd have to believe that they would sign his replacement before letting him go. If we wait until after he's gone we become moneybags all of a sudden and will get completely fleeced on all our transfers.

Just read the comments on him deciding where he wants to play next season, then immediately after the radio tells me that he thinks staying here is not an option. Then a colleague tells me he has said he has an agreement in place with a club!
Bit of a weird position for me. I will be gutted when he leaves but then i knew he would leave for better things the minute he signed for us, the fact we got him for 4 years instead of 2 was a bonus for me.
Never in my life have i come across a player who should be hero worshipped yet every time he is on international duty infuriates his own fans with needless comments.
He will go onto better things, i have nothing against him wanting to leave this 2 bit club to play for a successful one. Still sad to know we won't adequately replace him neither and it will be a hard act to follow.

You can buy a player, agree the transfer fee, agree wages etc, you just can't officially register the player until the 1st July.
Can see some sort of Club statement some time today along the lines of "Blah, blah, blah 2 years left on contract, blah, blah"

Never fully warmed to him but the best striker I've seen at Everton. Good luck to the lad he's done well for us, big problems replacing him now.
