seems like lukaku is beyond criticism in here, so Ill say it. He was really poor today. Poor passes, poor decisions, poor holding up of the ball, lost the ball many times.
There's certain filters that you can apply on fellow blues to ascertain if they're melts or not.

He's not beyond critism mate, his touch and hold up play today was very poot and a part of his game he really needs to improve generally.
He is however a 22 year old lad who has been hitting double figures every season for the past 3 years, so I generally cut him some slack.
Had a poor game today but bloody hell was he unlucky with that free kick. He actually hits it too well, absolute flush on the spot and was unlucky.

You won't see the best of him until you see him with the ball running towards goal. For as long as we play him with his back to goal, you'll get the same people moaning about his touch.
Does he need to improve it? yes, ofcourse he does.
Is playing with his back to goal the best way of utilising him?
