He's not beyond critism mate, his touch and hold up play today was very poot and a part of his game he really needs to improve generally.

He is however a 22 year old lad who has been hitting double figures every season for the past 3 years, so I generally cut him some slack.

You won't see the best of him until you see him with the ball running towards goal. For as long as we play him with his back to goal, you'll get the same people moaning about his touch.

Does he need to improve it? yes, ofcourse he does.

He is only 22 and slots double figures every season. Play to his strengths and he will do so again. It's easy to forget he's only 22. It will take time but he will grow into a world class striker IMO, but he needs the right service and encouragement to do so.

Aye. I think it was ultimately the right call from the lino according to the letter of the law, but one of the tightest calls I've seen.
