Joyce ran a very similar article to the echo tonight. Tbh it isn't anything we didnt already know, nobody has bid. With Chelsea apparently put off by the price tag too.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman reveals plan B if Romelu Lukaku joins Chelsea this summer
RONALD KOEMAN has admitted he has drawn up contingency plans in the event of Romelu Lukaku leaving Everton.
New major shareholder Farhad Moshiri is adamant Lukaku will not go in the transfer window and suitors Chelsea have not tabled a bid for the forward despite a prolonged courtship aimed at resigning the attacker they sold for £28m in 2014.
Everton have offered Lukaku a contract that would make him the highest paid player in the club’s history, although the Belgium international still sees his future away from Goodison Park.
It is against that backdrop that Koeman says his previous experiences, including those as Southampton manager, have taught him to prepare for the worst and he has already identified potential replacements.
“I have two plans – one is with Lukaku and one without him,” said the Everton manager. “Of course we have names in mind. We can use one more in that position [anyway].
“There is a lot of interest for him we know, he’s a good player. Finally, you can’t win it if really it is a big team who spend a lot of money for an Everton player or a Southampton player.
“I had the same story in Southampton. But there was not really that big bid on table and still now there is no big bid on the table.”
Lukaku missed the opening weekend stalemate with Tottenham with a heel injury and only trained for the first time on Thursday to leave Koeman with a decision on whether he is fit enough to face West Brom. He is confident Lukaku’s attitude would not be affected.
“I don’t have any doubts about this because the boy is working hard trying to be fit for the team and what happens in future we will see,” he said.
Everton rejected Chelsea’s overtures for John Stones last summer before selling him 12 months later to Manchester City and the arrival of billionaire businessman Moshiri was seen as strengthening their resolve to only allow players to leave on the club’s terms.
“That’s a question for inside, I prepare for ‘yes’ and ‘no’ and that’s when we will see,” said Koeman.
