If he stays, we need another striker as competition - to push him. Nothing says "up your game" better than sitting on the bench watching someone else bang the goals in.

Agreed, he was never put under pressure at Everton for his position. Didn't matter if he was scoring I suppose.

I think he/the team would score a shed load more if he got to play with an actual strike partner, not midfielders making runs off him every now and then.

He doesn't need to, he already knows which club he's going to! Its a shame he talks so much, if he concentrated on his game he could be top class (just not as big as he is in his own head)
