Romelu Lukaku

I can't believe it's united nutrition team telling rom to bulk up as it is nonsensical

It must be of his own doing, which again just doesn't make sense.

If he lost a couple stone he would come alive again I'm sure.

Barkley has just done the same at Chelsea and is playing loads better.

He could easily score four or five in his next two games - Young Boys and Southampton.

Then suddenly he's back on a 1 in 2 record.

Because that's what he is - a flat track bully goalscorer.

Hate to do a Theresa May here but I really don't think anything has changed. I've seen little difference in his general play from now and when he was supposedly good. All that has happened is that his goals have dried up and his general game has been exposed as a result.

Yes, he's overweight but I think the impact that has had has been overblown by those seeking excuses for him.

Except he visibly has no pace anymore, that was what made him effective in the first place, his ability to push defences back 10 yards and get in behind. He’s lost all of that because he’s too heavy.

Must admit I'm surprised by that. Perfect chance for him to get a goal.

Jose must consider this a big game and therefore doesn't want to take the risk on yet another typical Lukaku performance.
Well they play Southampton on Saturday, that might be an easier game and more suited to his touch
