Romelu Lukaku

He looks and plays like that fat kid who was always picked last and stuck in goal at school deciding to “show everyone what he can do” and dribbling it out and trying to play. Clearly he’s never heard of cutting after you bulk.

But in all seriousness I think Jose decides he was a hold up striker and told him to pack it on and try and play like one even though he isn’t that type of player at all.

Whilst calls, over in the 'who can replace Marco' thread , for Big Vic to take up the reins might be deemed somewhat fanciful, Big Vic was a bulky CF. Perhaps Big Rom is modelling his game on him.

The commentator was saying how Lukaku was "exceptional for the team" yesterday and did an "awful lot of work". I couldn't believe my ears. He was an utter liability with the ball bouncing off him constantly, him refusing to break into a sprint and not even having a single shot on goal.

Size of the cart now ffs. He was a lean mean scoring machine back in 2016/17, but has turned into a right chunky get now. Can't believe United have allowed that to happen. He doesn't even sprint any more, probably because he can't. Remember that goal for us from the right wing against Arsenal? No chance he'd be able to do that any more.

There was one incident in the game yesterday which told us the whole story about Lukaku, when he allowed Matip to actually run around him and win the ball from a position where Lukaku should have controlled the ball not allowing the centre half to get in front of him and lay the ball off to a team mate. Utterly shocking play from a centre forward, particularly one of his size.
