It's like saying if Lukaku didn't turn 2-1 into 3-1, or 1-0 into 2-0, that the other team wouldn't have had a bigger chance and drive of equalising lol

Pathetic from most of Evertons supporters tbh.

Can't wait to cancel out loads of goals this season because they 'didn't matter'

Apparently if you don't have the all round game of Messi you're just not very good. Some people don't seem to realise that even the greatest players of all time have flaws in their game or areas which they aren't as good at as others. Lukaku has flaws but he also scores goals and will probably approach if not surpass 30-35 in all competitions this year, providing he avoids injury.

Can he still improve? Of course he can. Thierry Henry has done some decent close analysis and highlighted two weeks in a row some weakness in his game which he can and needs to improve on. But you know how he concluded his analysis? By essentially stating that lukaku already has the hard part sorted. He scores goals. You can fine tune the rest.

Anyone who downplays the importance of simply scoring goals because his first touch isn't so good should probably be managing Manchester United instead of Mourinho.
