Terrible at Penalties, wonder what his record for pens are? Lucky that at united he has players around him who can score aswell and they don't just rely on him

Standard Lukaku performance, but didn't have the goal to disguise it.

I thought he actually wasn't as bad as he has been thus far but still not great.

Including today's miss he's scored 10 out of 15. He also rather famously missed in the Super Cup penalty shootout in 2013 right before he left Chelsea.

How many times did he do this at Everton?

A few good games and goals, and then he would rest on his laurels.

Deeply frustrating sometimes.

Some revisionist nonsense in here tonight.

Cracking slotter. Miles away from replacing him as it stands.

And we all know he is mince at pens.

It has always been a bit of an Anderlecht thing, but it's worse since 2011. If they get a penalty, loads of times they miss and as a result their confidence is shattered for the rest of the match. The ideal solution is no penalties.

A year back Anderlecht even received the official title of worst penalty team in Europe. This was after a match where they missed three penalties in one game. It's painful to watch.

They've accumulated more than 25 misses in the last 4 seasons or so.

But he hasn't had a few good games. He's just scored as usual.

He's actually due his "1 good game in 10" for United as he hasn't had it yet.

How? Rooney has had a far better start to the season than him. Not sure how that's even debatable - it's chalk and cheese; one goal less but overall performances far, far better.

Three goals in three games. Great start.

Leading the line with aplomb in what looks like will be a side challenging for the league this season.

If his all-round play had been that damaging they wouldn't have scored 10 goals without reply in three league games. It's as simple as that.
