Romelu Lukaku

Not too dissimilar when he’d point to where he expected a ball to go, when a short exertion would have meant he’d have made it: basically, petulant.

Honestly have no idea how he's held in such high esteem on here. I'd call him a big baby, but that would be an insult to a big baby's control of a football

His finishing record while he was here shouldn’t be ignored and it’s better that pretty much all we’ve had for a long time, so that plays a part in it.

As a person however, well I think he’s showing more and more that he has a chip on his shoulder. Perhaps the attitude is holding him back?

Juventus are looking to pay him £350k a week, despite the fact that he's managed 20+ league goals once in his professional career.

I don't know how he does it. He's the Kenwright of footballers.

Its becaue the people who rate him have never experience top quality World Class players, United fans have, so they can see him for what he is, same with Chelsea fans, but he is better then DCL and Niasse, which is the yard stick for some

Chelsea, Everton, United and now a brilliant Juventus side.

It's as if a lot of top clubs know he's a fantastic player.
2 of those three Premier League clubs didn't want him, the one that did have been hopelessly midtable?
Dont think you have thought that one through mate.

72 points and 5th for us, just as example. And now sought by the best team in Italy.
As good as Rom was that year it isn't like he carried us to 5th. We got a bunch of goals from other places that year. He scored 15 which is a decent return but not enough to put finishing 5th solely at his feet.

I rated Rom highly and thought he would really hit the heights at United. I think it's clear now that he is in the Vardy/Giroud tier of strikers below the truly top class Kane/Aguero tier. Which does make it odd that Juve would want to pay him 350k a week now.
