It was a good deal for us, get over it. I highly doubt any team would've bought him for much more than that. Most of the people on here didn't believe we'd get anywhere near what we got for him.

But if you look at their fees then the Lukaku fee is fair. Morata could easily rival Lukaku for top scorer this season.

You think so? I can't see it personally. Most people laughed at Everton when the stories about us wanting £100m started surfacing.
Later on the window maybe but we weren't to know how out of control the fees would get, and it was always in our interest to get it done as early as possible too.

Thing is if we had got £130m then Pickford would have suddenly cost £40m, Iceland £60m and so on. Yes it looks like we may have been done but it would have meant we would have spent it all on the players we got in anyway so I don't think we lost anything in the grand scheme of things other than a great finisher we never replaced.
