Shock horror, UTDS first test of the season in any comp and so far nothing, like for us at Anfield last season, let's hope he bags in the second half.

Outside of the so called "big 6", there's 14 other teams in this league including ourselves. Mourinho is quite clearly playing for a point, as he always does in these big 6 fixtures, and Rom has mostly been isolated. Not saying he's played well, but Mourinho won't care- he knows that beating the fodder in the league is what wins you the title alongside not losing to your rivals, and Lukaku will score goals to help him do that.

It's just a shame his only real impact is kicking a kid and a man who was on the deck. Other than that nothing, except playing everyone onside for the best chance of the game. Thank god for De Gea.

Those three against Liverpool were important. So were a couple at City. The two he scored against Dynamo Kiev were important in the
context of the position of those matches when he scored them, and they were big games.
Best striker Everton had in a quarter century and our own fans wanted him gone.

Still talking about a handful of matches over the space of three years though. When you are seeing Kane/Morata/Mane etc making the difference every week instead of scoring a couple when the game is already won, it is very obvious that despite the number of goals he scores, lukaku doesn't belong in the same league as those players...
