Ronald Koeman discussion

I hope I'm proven wrong, but Koeman comes across as a bit lazy and arrogant.

Loves his golf holidays during the season according to a saints fan I know - and came here for the pay rise and nothing more

Honestly, this is the most boring uninspired managerial acquisition in our history, at least Mike Walker, Roberto Martinez and others were a gamble and it was in a way exciting.

Not this guy. Dutch Moyes. All of you dreaming of big things, I hope you enjoy 6/7th for the next decade.

Crap.

Scarily prescient

Ah come on, you've become so negative. At least let the window play out and see what we have at the end.

I haven't been this frustrated in a long time. We promised so much and now were an absolute mess 7 days from playing a side who've just pumped Inter 6-1.

I'm sorry I can't defend the board this summer. The excuses are laughable. It's now or never really. Deadline day is far too late.

A) the things Moshiri said he would do he has done and B) What excuses? I haven't heard Koeman make one excuse about anything and C) Its Pre season ffs, Liverpool are currently beating Barcelona, does that mean they are now utter crap?

1) Moshiri and his people have promised to put us back at the top of English football. Signing no quality but instead relegation fodder freebies ain't gonna do that.

2) Pogba, it's too hard, Martinez, clubs moving goalposts etc. Not Koeman excuses. Excuses from those on here defending the debacle.

3) Yes it is pre season. And that's our only saving grace. We have a huge week coming up and need urgent activity. But to be going into the season opener with possibly lukaku injured, no proper keeper, no big name signing whatsoever. And none of the deadwood shipped out is frankly frightening. And not something I expected.

In short my message to the board is:

1) You've had a shocker so far.
2) Go and put it right.

We're all frustrated but progress has been made off the field. That needed to be sorted urgently and it is well underway. We have rolled the dice with some big name signings and they may well still come off. I think 3 or 4 will. We are trying to undo 20 years of mismanagement and it can't be done immediately.
