Anybody who doesnt agree with "Football is not what you do on the ball" knows very little about football.

A good manager knows a goalkeeper seeing the run and coming off his line early saves multiple goals a game. All defending is off the ball. And most goals are scored with movement off the ball, a brilliant run to get open, a smart run to pull off a defender, or a sixth sense for how to find space to receive a pass to start a counter...

And moving into space to receive a ball and making an angle for a pass.

He's just after getting his feet under the table.I won't be surprised if we get off to a slow start.It will take time and if mistakes are made that's okay so long as Koeman learns from them.There is a time and place for fume but i think Koeman should be allowed breathing space for the moment.I mean we've only played effin pre season matches so far like.I think he will win over his doubters in the end.People forget that this team was unlucky not to qualify for the champions league two years ago.If he get's the best of Mirralas and Deulofeu and get's in some quality reinforcements before the window closes then were in business.

I'd take three Dutch league titles 1 Dutch Cup and 1 Copa Del Rey over Bobby's 1 FA Cup any day.Ajax also got to the quarter finals of the champions league when Koeman was there when the eventual winners AC Milan narrowly beat them.Get behind the new manager Zat because Bobby ain't coming back.

What evidence is there for this? Took Southampton to successive top 6 finishes despite huge squad overhauls. That's a great achievement in anyone's books.

Its far better. FDB took over Ajax when they were around 3rd best....Koeman took over when they were miles better than anyone else.

Cocu also was a missed chance, he will go onto big things.
