Ronald Koeman discussion

...plenty of pictures of what looks a full training session at Nad Al Sheba by the looks of things.
I was actually stunned when I saw them.

Very different to how another club in Dubai is approaching things at the minute, who are going more down the route I suggested. So, good to see the Koemans still drilling the work ethic in.

...if they come home and lose then there'll be a lot of criticism but if they continue their good form it'll be seen as a good move.

Frank de Boer spruiking that Barcelona are looking at Koeman, and if they come asking Koeman will be interested.

Not sure if someone has posted this but thought I'd add my 2 cents, feel free to give me change.

Of course he would be interested - managing Barcelona would probably be an opportunity he couldn't possibly pass up

That said, I can't see it happening - Luis Enrique will probably be off, but Koeman, despite his background, doesn't really play in the post-Cruyff philosophy that Barca are so entrenched in. Moving for Koeman, whilst it might be popular with a lot of their fans, would be a huge shift away from the last 15 years or so for them.

Personally, I doubt this is on the cards - they're more likely to appoint a youth team coach or something like that

On the flipside, we've been away in the last three years under Martinez and the last two we came home and were still crap! Our form also dipped in the second half of the 2013-14 season too, arguably cost us 4th.

Gibson has gone now so maybe they won't be sneaking out at 1am and smashing shots of absynth

People were scared Martinez was going to be taken by Barcelona.

he will be putting his message across at half time which he will need 2 iron out any problems and hook a few if need be.

Pretty confident about the game in all honesty. I think a convincing victory will go a fairway to cementing a European tour for us next season.
