Who said it was like a miracle ? All that's been said was that the quality of football in Martinezs first season was better than this season, despite scoring less.

Was a fantastic season. I don't actually agree that it was better football though, I like the controlled nature of this current Everton side. Only been taken apart twice I'd say and that's away at the two best sides in the league

We used to be in a position that we could go 2 or 3 goals in front with minutes to go and we would all be suspecting that it wasn't enough. Now, we know 2 is enough.

I don't see much difference and that was mostly a 6th place Moyes team. And we score 51 as of today. With 9 games to go I think we should score more than 61 which will destroy the myth, claiming RM's first season attacking play (and Ron's hoof ball lol) was superior.

The game yesterday was two teams playing as dire as each other for most of it. Of course we had the class to kick on, nevertheless the stylistic point remains intact

And Koeman hasn't done that with Martinez's style of play? Merely pointing out we could essentially achieve everything we did in this best season since the 80's you rate. Think even you can see I'm correct in pointing that out.
