Ronald Koeman discussion

Theres no pressure with Southampton. There is with Everton. The expectation is far greater here. You have to have that distinction pointed out to you?
In theory there should be pressure but moshiri doesn't seem to be exterting enough of that so I think we are stuck with Koeman for the foreseeable

What utter crap .
We didn't concede a shot on target from 36th minute till the penalty.

Pennington helped out with long balls to Felli and Ibra.

To blame RK here is pathetic and short sighted.

To get that team defending so resolutely when for the last 36 months they haven't ever defended says a lot .

I can't wait to see how far he gets this team.

The balanced posters on here are questioning his substitutions, more maybe the DCL one as he is not exactly pulling up trees at present and Valencia has shown more when he has been on the field. Mirallas really did not need to come off though.

Pennington was fine. DCL was a disaster. I mean the people going on as if we should be dispatching United as if they are Sunderland... we're just not that good.

Pennington was like a lost wee boy for 10 mins. It so very nearly cost us a goal when he left his man, fellaini and turned his back on the ball as a cross came in to run blindly to ibrahimovic. He was all over the place.

The fact he took off miralles who was our top performer for him was strange.

In theory it wasn't a bad shout but in reality given the current situation ie miralles performing well and Pennington being an utter bomb scare just a few days earlier it becomes a highly strange decision. Particularly as we were so comfortable at the time.

This United team are no great shakes. To be 1-0 up and relatively cruising, as we were, to change it so dramatically wasn't required and has cost us.

Moyes +

If moshiri was at all serious he'd bin him like city binned hughes.

But he's not so he won't.
Moshiri hasn't got a 'kin clue mate. He thinks a man who hasn't won a sausage for a decade is a "superstar manager".

I suggest he sticks to doing what he does best: concocting BS deals for stadiums where he leaves us to pay it off for 40 years and he pays f.a. and walks off with a massive profit.

Again I thought DCL was due to his size and physicality so can understand why he came on.

Last season we got beat and UTD barely broke sweat and Embarrassingly Falcao scored.

Being absolutely gutted not to win is absolutely fine with me.

That's progress.

No, Williams handling the ball with 30 seconds left cost us. 3 points was in the bad till he done that. I felt 3 at the back helped contain zlatan and felli quite well.

Bed wetting, Fifa playing, geordie biff.

I'm sorry but it's hard to argue with this

We have beaten the weakest two of the top 6 at home and struggled home and away against the rest, some truly awful showings

Is that not the reason they are the top 6 though? Because they're better than us? If we go into every game expecting a win we should be first.
