Just think of the deadwood that he has gotten rid of. By Deadwood I mean those who just simply aren't good enough.

Cleverly, Gibson, Niasse, Oviedo.... believe Kone, McCarthy will both also go in the summer as well as a few u23's. Im sure theres 1 or 2 im missing out there also.

Gibson and Oviedo (both gone in January).

Deulofeu, Kone, Lennon (probably will stay due to his status), Cleverley, McCarthy, Valencia (loan return), Niasse, Tarashaj, Grant, Garbutt, McAleny, Rodriguez, McGeady. It will take time to get them off the wage bill.

All the above will be gone by 1st Sept, bar of course the boy Aaron.
