Ronald Koeman discussion

He has fell out with Barkley, Mirallas and quite a few at Southampton. Maybe it is him?

Firmly in the Koeman out camp now. Sadly.

Honestly loved him last season.

I'm not sure I believe they would mate.

When he has spent the money he has mate, regardless of net and all that i think they'll would have wanted something to show for it. Its not about gelling together etc. A dummy can see that he's sending them out there with no clear plan, no clear tactics and clearly no shape.

We should have enough about us to get to 40pts but when the wheels come off big time you need an equal reaction to get this thing back on track.

My fear is that they'd never want to admit they are wrong.

No matter what if this continues then pressure has to mount.

I don't advocate sacking managers, especially this early, it can often lead to other problems, and it's hard to see if the immediate improvement is down to a better manager or just the fresh impetus and players trying to impress. I thought Martinez was harshly dealt with, and the decline in performances coincided with the growing unrest of the fans, until it became untenable because it was so hostile. It became a vicious circle, and I can see it going the same way here.

Koeman would regularly and openly criticise Martinez all through last year, using his failings as the core of excuses for his team not performing, be it fitness, organisation, not being able to defend, squad unbalanced, etc.

Well this is now definitely his team, his unbalanced squad, his defensive frailties (despite a defensive, some would say negative, setup), his tactics and style of play... and I don't see how it's changing soon. But it has to, or it's gonna get to that point of no return in record fast time.

Big, big questions now. This is his team - striker or no striker - and it shouldn't be this bad.

Sure, tough start to the season, so the points total can be somewhat excused, but not the level of performance.

People with bigger managerial CVs than Koeman have ended up being overtaken by events and out on their ear.
I don't think he is in immediate danger but football being what it is these days even another 2 or 3 games like this and things take their own momentum.
We don't have a sacking culture but nor are Everton immune to internal and external pressure.
Its a crying shame, as things have to be very very low for us to take action.

Can't decide on a formation, can't decide on a team, didn't get the players we needed in the summer, plays players out of position constantly and now he's paying the price.

Overrated in the extreme and appears to have fallen out with plenty of players, we don't look a happy squad at all and that falls on him.

Off you go Ronald.
