Ronald Koeman discussion

I think he lost hope as he knew what was coming. Unsworth is apparently furious with the way Koeman has handled the transfer window as well as he isn't giving the impressive youngsters a chance (Kenny, Dowell, etc.). It surely affected Davies mentally this season seeing 3 AM's come in.
If that's true then Unsworth needs a royal piping him down for having ideas above his pay grade.
Whatever his private view, he reports to Koeman.

I like Ronald

Me too,

Very worrying stat, should have been corrected after the Chelsea game, believe most of us have seen it coming from there.
Since the stoke game we've only scored 2 goals in competitive games and Rooney has scored them both. It was naive to think we could 'share' lukaku's goals around the team. That decision not to replace Rom, is looking more naive by the day.

Don't think he is under any imminent threat. Just get Sunday out of the way and then see how the next 6-8 weeks unfold.

Heaven forbid we are still stuck by Christmas, I hope we would have taken action before then if needs be.

Koeman looked very deflated in the post-match interview, huge few weeks for his future with us coming up.

Whilst I have no desire to see us become trigger-happy with hiring and firing, neither should we fear it when considered necessary. Hasn't done Chelsea any harm nor Spurs who were much the same until they got Pochettino, and Redknapp.

Sometimes a point is reached where change is necessary despite best efforts and intentions. Nobody is appointed intending to fail but knowing when to stick or twist takes a combination of luck, good timing, and great judgement.

When Spurs got beat 5-0 against RS, Levy got rid of Vilas Boas and made a very good appointment in Redknapp. Nothing is guaranteed but we need to get out of this slump and fast. RK has time but this turnaround is extremely worrying.

It's always more complicated than that though. Bring 2/3 youngsters in, hopefully do well, then you have another 2/3 disgruntled, frustrated 'superstars' sitting on the bench sulking, added to the ones we already have. With no prospect of them going anywhere soon.
Managers problem like, but not an easy one if the team are struggling.
