Ronald Koeman discussion

As supporters our mood is based largely on quality of performance and above all, results. What we may not have realised is that while the start of the season has been a big disappointment, it could be that RK is carrying out the'project' exactly according to the boards plan. RK was employed for various reasons...firstly to rattle a few of the players cages and eradicate the so called 'dead wood'. That first phase has more or less been achieved. Secondly...to build a team to win football matches...that part of the project has begun with a reasonable,in the end, but not brilliant transfer window...January might see that phase near completion. If at any time the board do not think that RK is able to complete his three year project, he will be replaced.
The rest of this season is going to be very interesting.

Which stage was waste loads of money and play like a bunch of blind donkeys who have never met before?

Half of them hadn't met before.....we have some good players....that's part of the mystery regarding performances...but RK is still doing the job the owner has asked him to do....he's not even halfway to completion yet........

No chance it would be better if we lost the next couple of games mate, at the end of the day Koeman gets on my tits big style, I can't even listen to him being interviewed anymore, but putting all that aside I want him to succeed with us, turn us into the type of team we all want to see.

I was willing to give Martinez a fair crack of the whip, so IMO Koeman should be given till at least Christmas to turn it around (if things are still as crap, then turf him out on his arse) and if he does, then he has the January transfer window to kick us on.
Your a Patient man, IMO he will never succeed here sooner he's gone the better.

To benefit the club and look at the bigger picture would we be better off losing out next 2 games? I no it's a controversial thing to say, but that would surely bring the end to Koemans reign and would take us back to a level we could start to build again. The way Moyes had to work kept us on the same level for years which was ok to a degree, but after him it was meant to be a new start to make us great again, Moshiri came things were looking bright but now a few years with Martinez and Koeman, I feel we are at a lower level than when Moyes was here and to make it worse on paper we are suppose to have better players. But the key thing for me here us to get Koeman out, it should have been done after the burley game.

So your happy to see Koeman stay? You must enjoy having your weekends ruined. I've followed Everton for nearly 30 years and this is the first time I'm starting to lose interest in football, that down to Koeman I'm fed up with us continually failing and playing very boring football, he's had long enough it's about time the owners got proactive and got someone in who is capable of doing the job properly, the last 2 aren't.

Well, our present league position notwithstanding, you are most probably right.

I think it is now pretty clear his remit was to keep us competitive in that mini league of fourteen clubs which aspire to nowt more than staying in the EPL.

His big mistake was finishing seventh last season, though.......that brought about participation in the EL and his boss has already wheeled that out as an explanation for this season’s renewal of the annual Koeman Autumn Slump :(

But once we are relieved of that burden come the end of next month I am sure we will gather enough points to challenge for a respectable upper mid table finish :)

And Mosh will be one happy hombre

Well done, Ronald ;)

2 IMO, but after the next 3 he will probably be gone. We may beat Brighton but Arsenal and Lyon I think not.

No way.

He beats Brighton he gets another four games at least.

Why?

Because the three games after that are Lyon, Arsenal and Chelsea......or in Moshiri speak, not “unexpected losses”.

After Brighton, the next crunch game for Koeman is Leicester away, a game we mark in the “unexpected loss” column.

Though if I am honest with you, even at this stage I am struggling to see us winning at either Brighton or the Foxes :(

Vardy in particular must be relishing the visit of Everton
