Ronald Koeman discussion

I equate Koeman's tenure to that of Moyes at United. Did brilliantly at a smaller club, no disrespect to Everton but couldn't handle it on the big stage, with more money, where the pressures are higher.
Koeman is not a bad manager. Tactically astute and knows his football. I can't really explain his reasoning for some of his spendings. Alienating Niasse, trying everything he could to push Barkley out are also some of his inexplicables.
Koeman & Moyes ?
Yes they were both let down by their boards failings in the transfer market.

I think this is beyond managers tbh. This club is a basket case.Seriously it's back to the late 90's/early noughties Walter Smith era as far as im concerned. We are a shambles.Im just hoping we can get to 40 points as soon as possible. Then we can readdress things in the summer. This season is all about making sure the club doesn't fall off a cliff now imo.
I don't get how it can be this bad though, it's not like in the 90's when we didn't have a pot to piss in and thus always had garbage. We just have one of the most horrible uninterested gang of rats playing for us that I've ever seen. Our side is chocker full of tallent but most of them simply can't be arsed. I defo agree that it goes beyond the manager now, somthing is rotten in this club.

'Are you staring down the barrel of relegation? Are you underperforming your talent level? Do the following words describe your club?

"Trainwreck. Superfund site. Disaster zone. Clueless, aimless, hopeless, lifeless, moribund. No time, no plan, no direction, no hope."

Then call 1-800-A-FAT-SAM today! Relegation escape guaranteed or your money back. Don't wait until it's too late and you're in the Championship. Act now!'

The fact that the club should even consider replying to the above is both incredibly depressing and very, very telling about the current state of the club. There shouldn't be a need for the board to be fired; if they had a shred of dignity, the members would have tendered their resignations already.

i reckon he's got three games to save his job.
Lose against Arsenal and Leicester and, even if by some miracle we get past Chelsea at the Bridge, I think he'll be gone.

Sandro loses the ball Lyon counter and should score

Michael Keane misplaced an easy pass and Lyon counter and should score

So many times we misplace passes or fail to control the ball and it leads to a counter

We are terribly unorganised
is because we are making far far too many predictable sideways and backwards passes that teams know we havent got sharp quick penetrating forward balls in us, so they can press these crab balls and we end up passing to someone who isnt in a position to recieve it/doesnt want it and this extra pressure means we are not making the simple passes. We are shocking at the moment.
