Ronald Koeman discussion

Another bizarre formation, another different back 4/5, another match with players clueless as to how to play, another game where we've leaked goals, another miserable week with Koeman. If he's not sacked tonight I despair.

He has never got EVERTON or what we are about.Martinez embraced it all. This tit is here for the money and used us as a stepping stone for a bigger club. How's that working out for you Ron ?
So was Martinez, most managers don't care about the football club they manage. It's just some like Martinez have enough sense to say nice things about the club every now and then and the idiot fans will lap it up regardless of how insincere it's said. Of course Koeman is here for the money, they all are. Our last manager was here for the money and the one before him and the one before him. And the next manager we bring in will also be here for the money. The clueless charlatans who run Everton won't permit ambition in our manager so money for their own wallet is the only reason you'd come here.

Just got back from the match.

I really feel for Koeman.

He was close to tears in that post-match interview with Sky Sports. The Sky Sports pundits described him as looking calm, but to me he looked sad, agitated and reigned to losing his job.

As badly as we are doing, he isn't a bad bloke and he doesn't deserve some of the grotesque abuse that he's received from some fans.
Tbf he's brought a lot of this on himself, he's always treated us as a stepping stone and only signed because we gave him stupid money. Doesn't have any interest in the club and he's now finding out what happens when you don't give a crap about the club you manage.

Any personal attack is completely unjustified. People like that are in a very very small minority.

I'm sure though, Ronald will be mightily cheered when his compensation cheque comes through.

I don't think anyone sets out to fail, and I have a degree of sympathy for him on that level.

But he will be sublimely rewarded for absolute failure.

The sad thing is, a little more gumption from the club in sacking him removes him from the position where he has to bear, as unjustifiable as it is, any abuse from fans.

A matter of time now. Of course our small club will wait until we're out of the cup on Wednesday to bin him, because of course they will.

The ones before never thought they were bigger than us though.

Inside Koeman's brain.
