That's what I thought, too. I was watching with a friend from London that's an Arsenal fan. She looked at me, laughed, and said they'd win 1-3 after we scored. I didn't have the belief to argue with her, I thought she was right!

I hate to quote the deplorable spunknugget David Sullivan, but Everton look their "players are better than the team, rather than a team better than it's players". What would have made me happy tonight, a 1-0 defeat. We put a real shift in and ok we lose but we match them, have chances, not our day etc. In fact what jagielka said win ugly except lose ugly but at least put 90 minutes in.
Thinking about that last point, when was the last time an Everton team genuinely out a 90 minute performance in? Not start half an hour in or when we concede but start and finish a game with the same good attitude? Can't think of one in 5 years and yes that does include Martinez first season
