Occasionally we'll break out "We're by far the greatest team", but it generally depends on how much ale was consumed beforehand as to whether we can be arsed/remember the lyrics.

it's the school of science song mate just little text change so yes I have been to goodison or away often enough
 
With Koeman we've got someone who's won things our young 'stars' are dreaming about. Hopefully he can convince them to work hard under him and they can win with us.
 

I understand the Southampton fans angst, and fear if it goes well, the same could happen to us in a couple of seasons. However this is football and money talks, we've suffered enough in the recent past, with the over achievers tag.
So I hope he makes a big impression and sets up the pre-season well. Not sure who he'll sign/sell but hope our budget doesn't drive the prices up.

Looking forward to the Berlin tournament, just concerned it's a bit close to Russia and their Ultras..
 
Just watching that interview, this may be a statement of the blank blank obvious but the club is now being run by two tough buggers

I'm confident he will bring back a defensive stability that we were used to under moyes which means that we should have a decent home record this season.

With the right signings we could be a force to deal with

You're probably right but he'll have to have done a sterling job with us for that to happen so we'll be in a much better position.

If that then means a Barcelona or another of similar ilk coming calling and he goes, I'm pretty sure we'll handle if far better than the Southampton fans have and we'll just hold our hands up and accept he's moved to a bigger club.

If De Boer or Howe do a fantastic job at Saints in the meantime and prove themselves to be fantastic PL managers, then we'll just return to Southampton and take them next.
 
Interview was a bit Martinez-esk in the saying stuff but not saying stuff way. I'd go one further an say Martinez has it down better.
