Ronald Koeman discussion

That's a ridiculous statement, he needs his arse kicking. Imagine Klopp coming out with that.

It's obvious he has a big ego and see's his own future at a so called bigger club, but I personally don't think he's good enough to manage us.

As yet I haven't seen anything this season ( I know we are only 3 months in) that makes me think he's a good enough manager who can improve us or make us more attractive to the better players.

What do you mean by a "so called" bigger club then in relation to this? One like Chelsea who have won every trophy there is to win in the last decade and have played numerous seasons in the Champions League? Or a PSG who again have won their league and competed in the CL?

Just because we are a successful club in historical terms doesn't mean we haven't fallen behind once lesser clubs like the above mentioned ones. We have failed season in season out for the past 21 years and we play in an ancient stadium which is about the 8th biggest in the country.

Sick of seeing everyone bigging up the RS and Klopp as well. The man who took them to their joint worst league position for 60+ years last season despite having spent October to May with the team. And a club that like us, bangs on about how great they are despite not having conquered the English league since 1990.

We all knew the story when both Lukaku and Koeman joined the club. Lukaku was using us as a stepping stone, and Koeman is doing the same, whilst we are using both to hopefully get us as close to the top 4 as possible in the next few seasons. Loads on here were revelling in the Southampton's fans anger at Koeman leaving them for a "so called" bigger club in the summer and now that he's not spouting the dreamy BS Martinez did, people are crying about it. lol.

Both of them will be off as soon as they get chance. The truth is we don't need them nearly as much as we would have before February as we now have a longer term plan to aim for success that we never had under Kenwright.

Who's crying about it? Of course Lukaku is and so is Koeman everyone knows.

But why say anything to belittle his employers in public when he could have kept his mouth shut and said nothing?

What have we become when our manager is essentially belittling us in public. Absolutely no need for the comments.
One of only 3 teams (along with WBA and Sunderland) currently competing in the premier league to have finished in the bottom half in the previous two seasons?

I have an odd feeling that Pep Guardiola's next destination could be to manage Everton.

I hope not.

I have had enough of sideways passing and goals being conceded due to defenders fannying around "building from the back"

I thought that was the idea behind getting rid of Bobby and fetching Dutchie Moyes in :pint2:

Very poor from Koeman, showing a total lack of respect to his employers. I'm lost for words, I have lost all respect for him as a manager. It just shows it is all about the paycheck for him and that we are merely a stepping stone for him. I'll be happy when a 'big' club takes him off our hands, but think we will be waiting some time for that to happen!

Dutchie Moyes?

How many times did Moyes win at Stamford bridge in the same season he came back from 2-0 down to beat Liverpool 3-2?

FFS. I was hoping it wasn't Reddevil4life. This is getting serious now.

Listen I'm not particularly bothered what they are saying, it's the fact that we ourselves under our own making are allowing people to take cheap shots at our club.

The point I was getting across is this what thousands of people are seeing and it perpetuates that view of Everton that we really want to shake. One step forward, two steps back.
