I just find it a bit unnecessary.Don't see the issue myself.

Above, what the greatest manager that ever lived thought of Twitter.
We've won one match in ten and he's posting photos of his bloody Christmas tree and doing Throwback Thursday.
Maybe once he's looked remotely arsed about Everton and have us in consistent form I may be more lenient in my opinion.
The local media and many supports are talking about a disconnection between him and the fans, and I truly believe that to be the case.

He got annoyed the other day when fans slammed the colour of his Christmas tree.We are not the North Korea mate, You can't stop someone using social media just in case he offends one of the supporters. Says more about the cry arse supporters than the manager to be fair. Outside of football he has a life, everyone uses social media from billionaires to the unemployed, why shouldn't a manager.

'There are bigger problems in the world'
He is right, of course, but he is putting himself out there to be ridiculed by the fans.
Can't he make his account private and just share things with his friends and family?
The last thing I want to see when we fail to win yet again is Koeman's big fat face in a restaurant plastered on my phone (which he regularly does).
I suppose he's got to do something to fill his time though, he does work three days per week after all.
You're forgetting that everything that other people like and retweet is also shown on a person's feed. In other words, it doesn't matter if you follow them or not. What do you care if he makes a tit of himself on social media, christ everyone on here does it daily. If it bothers you to see his face, unfollow him. This is quite a simple thing to avoid. I don't use twitter very often, therefore I don't see him posting on his page, do you see how this works?

I care because he is our manager and represents the club I support.
There is a lot of this 'why do you care?' nonsense posted on this forum lately. We all in some way care, otherwise we wouldn't be on a forum to discuss issues relating to Everton.
I don't think a Premier League manager should be on social media, you do. As a result a discussion has happened - whole point of a forum.
@The Esk ? wouldn't go that far mateMet him at a charity do once.
Humble, down to Earth, and VERY funny.
My original post regarding his Throwback was tongue-in-cheek. You've made me delve further into it.Ok let's be blunt here then because you are obviously a sensitive soul, It's none of your business what the manager does in his spare time, none, nada, zip, it's you who has the issue not him grow up I say if twitter makes you feel so embarrassed.
I do apologise for the blunt tone but jeez it's something and nothing.

No, it isn't none of my business what he does in his spare time.
It isn't my business that Darron Gibson gets pissed and runs cyclists over in his spare time either, doesn't mean I don't have an opinion on it.
Also, as above, Sir Alex shared the same opinion regarding Twitter. A manager Koeman should be looking up to.
Actually, the company I work for often warn us of the use of Twitter and other social media platforms. It is the same with many others. There is a difference between bringing the good name of the club into disrepute and using twitter, not really a good comparison is it, I would expect most companies would be none too happy about Gibson drink driving, would most companies care if their manager was on twitter, no mate.
Unless Koeman has signed the official secrets act and is giving away national security secrets then he can post what he likes, again if you don't like it don't use twitter, simple.
With all due respect Fergie is in his 70's he probably couldn't care less about social media, another massive leap from you.
