Ronald Koeman discussion

Because we've lost our best striker and our best attacking midfielder. Plus, we've also signed a lot of players.
Surely you buy players who you know will readily suit the system. Are you saying you can see the system he is trying to play? Because I can't. Frankly this season, and for parts of last, he's looked like he hasn't got a clue what he's trying to do.

I think I might take that as well, Stevon

At the moment I feel we will be taking a catapult to the gunfight :pint2:

I am genuinely worried about what Rashford and Rom running at our defence will do to us.

We signed a load if players who taken individually yeah sound and look good. But taken as a whole is a mess

United did the exact opposite. Signed players they needed to make the whole better.

We will go out the next two games all out to get draws and we'll likely fail badly against United and I'm worried about the Italians as well.

I always support new Everton managers and players. I've supported Koeman this past year. I can't offer that support anymore.

No matter how much you try to put a positive spin on it, that wasn't acceptable today. I had a feeling we'd get stuffed today before the game kicked-off. The performances have been torrid so far, but the 'need to gel' line has been the excuse. No excuse in the world justifies that today.

We are going to get thumped next weekend at Man.U after a tough Europa game, no doubt. This is a team bereft of pace, fluidity, balance and chemistry. Koeman inherited a top 7 side and he has made us weaker after spending a record amount of money.

This will be a season of huge frustration and disappointment for us Evertonians. I'll be amazed if Koeman is our manager in 9 months.

Most worrying thing is if we lose our home form. There's absolutely no sign our away will improve. Looking at the team if anything it's shorn of pace now which means away we will struggle badly.

Will take a good beating from some dross team for a lot to see that maybe We have worryingly regressed

Let's just do a quick analysis of his "tactics" today.

He favours 5 at the back which gives us width with our 'wingbacks', which we don't have. But, today, he abandoned that in favour of 4 at the back, which means the FB's are meant to sit back more and our 'wingers' are to give us width. Instead of picking that, he chose to have 2 DM's and 3 AM's who ALLLLLL like to play centrally.

It's shocking that THIS is what £6m a year gets you..
