Why sack him? The next manager will also fail to be successful with the setup as is. Keep heaping the misery on Moonhead. Once finances ease or results turn around then get the next guy in.

He's no more than a punk fall guy at a club who needs someone to take the blame. He's been there a season too long already, why not make it two?

Check the team which played last night...

Ter Stegen
Garcia Pique Araujo
Dest Busquets De Jong Roberto
Pedri
De Jong Depay

Aside from Roberto and De Jong up top thats probably their best team.

Fati and Coutinho came off the bench as well.

Should get more out of that team. There's a couple of old players and a lot of youth. Might actually watch a full Barcelona game as opposed to the highlights to see why they are seemingly so inept.

When you compare with our 1st eleven, probably:

Ter Stegen
Araujo
Dest
De Jong
Pedri

Get in our team...possibly Depay as well.

Then off the bench, Fati and Coutinho of course.

Not as good as previous years but shambolic from Koeman.

I feel similar

He's the one ex-manager of ours from that list that I genuinely dislike

Not a huge fan of Large Samuel either, but we knew what we were getting when he came in
 

I had no idea they'd signed Luuk de Jong. He missed some incredible sitters there.

Otamendi, Vertonghen and Taarabt in the Benfica team as well.

Of course Xavi is the lamb to the slaughter there. But if he turns it around, there's the hero that the president will want to kill off to maintain his political grip of the club.

It was master stroke of career management of Guardiola to take a hiatus from the game to make his break and all parties remain amicable and without the usual rancour. Good job Pep isn't available- this would be the challenge to prove his abilities beyond doubt.
