Why do you think that? Wasn't a director of football in charge of the transfers? A manager cannot set a club back that long. I am surprised to see Koeman criticized so much.

He seems to have done well with the national team.

Imo most Koeman can do is perform badly and get sacked in 6 months.

To put it into your world, lets say you sold Messi for £600m, (which you cant, cos no one can pay that, good luck with that wage bill as well), and Koeman wasted it on transfers that were both over paid for, and on sky high wages so no one would buy them, and crap. Welcome to Everton.

Thats fair. He could go on runs, both winning and losing, but he is, or was with us, lazy, arrogant, and basically, he is hated by us.

His man management was truly awful undid anything positive Martinez did , undermined existing coaches , destroyed confidence of the best group of youngsters we had, shunned youth players, spent a record amount of money downgrading us and the cherry on the s5it cake was having to do a double substitution every week because he got his tactics wrong game in game out.
