I'll never understand the Griezmann transfer at that age for that money, He's only banged in 9 goals in 40 apps.
Looks like Bayern Munich will be the kings of Europe for a while, Maybe a chance for City to sneak in if they spend well.

What price for Barca to not even make the CL spot this season. they have every chance with this fella in charge.

That club has been a mess for years, strange managerial appointments and even worse recruitment.

they’ve operated like Everton, utterly bizarre

We all know who replaced Koeman at Everton, Sam and Sammy must be finalising their contract at the Nou Camp as we speak.

I can't wait to see that goblin running up the touchline there and leaping all over a bemused looking Messi.

He's on borrowed time now, why on earth did they appointment him?
It was never going to work.
He was always a temp, the only question is how much of his 2 years he has to not go to the golf course for.
I think the plan is for whats his face the ex player who is managing in the middle east to come in...but why would he after all this.

Poison Chalice doesn't even begin to cover it.
New managers in 18mths(?) for Barca, Madrid, United, City, rs, - maybe even Spurs...and Chelsea, Arsenal at a stretch

Interesting Times

As long as we're going well enough to escape the same fate

There seems to be a clear and similar problem at the likes of Barça, Madrid and City. Their mainstays over the last 5 or 10 years are all getting on or already gone (Messi, Busquets, Pique, Alba, Suarez, Ramos, Modric, Kroos, Benzema, Ronaldo, Aguero, Kompany, Silva, Toure). All top notch and, in a couple of cases, generational talents who have played to an incredible level for a long time. As their powers wane, they become more injury prone or leave, seemingly simultaneously, It's incredibly difficult to replace. You're either relying on young talents coming through or brought in like Ansu Fati, Pedri, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Jovic, Foden and Ferran Torres to step up or expensive established players like Coutinho and Griezman to hit the levels they did at their previous clubs.
In Barça's case, even if Ansu Fati, Pedri and Dembele reach world class levels over the next decade, Where's the new Puyol, the new Xavi, the new Dani Alves? Transitions can be problematic even for established giants. Barça and Madrid will probably always be ahead of the field in Spain but their cycle as European power houses may be coming to a messy end.
