Probably took this long as they were sorting out a severance package for Koeman

Question remains: Whoever takes over either temporary or permanent - do we have the players to get us out of the poo before the January window?

Yes we have all the same players as the last few seasons who got around mid table up the only one we havent got is Lukaku but as last season proved even without his goals we would of been in the same position so no need to panic yet

I am astounded that we have sacked him so early. Don't get me wrong i thought he should have gone after the Burnley game but this is Everton who laboured on with Martinez for some would say years too long.
Positive move by the club and suits all parties as Koeman will now walk into the Dutch job and we can get on with appointing a successor as quickly as possible.

The Burnley game is the one i would have done it after,then when he was not gone yesterday or even this morning,thought they were trying to stick with him,thing is if you believe the sky reporter earlier koeman supposedly didnt expect a meeting etc to be told hes sacked etc -probably a lie

I honestly think this is best of the club.

I feel as a fan of this club for my whole life, actually quite embarrassed by the whole thing.

You could not make up how badly this has gone. I still can't believe Koeman was actually so bad as a manager, yet so good as a player.

One of my favourite players. But so bad as a manager...
