Of course he is MG, the kid above yer post, his username is gobbldegook to me :D should be watchin' Childrens Television now instead of attention seeking here. :)

My last post on this pedantic, childish, excuse for a human being, it's like preaching the words of the Qur'an to the Jews. :(

What's the difference between him and Rooney?

Did anyone see Ronaldo when he scored against Sporting Lisbon? He didn't celebrate or anything, he showed nothing but respect.

Yer takin' the pi$$ now arn't yer? :D

whoever I say, and there's quite a few, you will come back with some shyte, so I'll just mention one player straight away...ROONEY (y)

Now you can laugh all yer want, most of you so called Everton fans have a chip on yer shoulders about Rooney but go on the Manc site and yer can bet yer bottom dollar he is held in much higher regard as a footballer than Ronaldo even before he went. He moved over for the sake of that prikk, Rooney is a better all round player by a street, get over it.

I keep tellin' yers, Ronaldo is a clown :D I can do stepovers at my age, 62, it's easy, most of the time he gets the ball taken off him, he scores a few goals from free kicks, what's his ratio of goals to free kicks?

MESSI, superb player....or are you gonna come out with some shyte about him not being a player in the Prem (you didn't mention that, it's just in case :D)

Xavi

Kaka

Fabregas

that Russian lad

and Modric of Spurs, brilliant.

there's loads, I rest my case now....stop chattin' [Poor language removed] will yers?. :D

Forgot about Iniesta too
Think I might agree with you to a point certainly about Rooney. Personally think Iniesta is the best in the world. Ronaldo is a very good player but overrated imo.

I'm with Danzante and James M on this one. With the show pony gone watch out for Rooney this season. He's had to fit around Ronaldo and will now have a chance at a more free role. He can play for himself more, the goals will flow. Maybe not 43, but easily 25+

The skill/talent of Ronaldo is far, far outweighed by the petulance, poor attitude, expectation of referees to make allowances for him, and general arrogance.

Glad he's out of the Prem so I don't have to watch his antics week in week out. Can't stand him!

Personal choice really. I feel Messi can take tackles better. He trys to stay on his feet more.

I'd also say he's more of a team player and is less selfish (which I think needs to be more of to be more lethal).

People like a team player - Rooney, Tevez, Inesta, Kaka etc etc - for all their skill, people still will hold the player that plays as a team in higher regard.

Ronaldo stopped playing as a team player IMO for 2 seasons because he, for want of a better word, can be unstoppable when left on his own and he knew, United knew it and exploited it. Everyone else at United just has to back him up and let him do his thing. United relied a little too much on him last season and had to dig deep when he was off form.

He's a horrible personality. But as a player, give him the ball and 9 times out of 10 he'll do something. Now he's going to have Kaka helping him out rather than a Carrick or a Rooney....bit of a threat that is IMO.
