In fairness to Hoddle he got Swindon to the premier league, I think you could say that Hoddle was a bit more articulate than Rooney.For his dim witted nature off the pitch he had an amazingly brilliant footballing brain on it.
Thought there was chance that he would be a decent manager but for whatever reason (probably personality) it isn't working out and probably never will. Maybe a drop right down the leagues and a change of attitude could work.
Obviously we don't know but i9t could be like the stories of Hoddle at Swindon, in training, especially when he was player/manager, he was 20 steps ahead of the other players and would look frustrated. When you have reached the top of the game as a player, I guess it is hard to come down to other players levels, when a manager.
Rooney will never make a good manager and should just take it easy and enjoy his retirement it's not like he needs the money.His problems will come when Coleen finally decides to dump him and walks away with half his bank balance.
I don't dislike Rooney he was manipulated as a kid by agents and Kenwright .
