I'm probably being a bit kind here and hoping he has a conscience and a bit if pride as a professional footballer - he should kick his own arse all over the place and punt his agent whilst he's at it because that move has been an utter disaster

Not yet, im sure there will be a new manager to impress over the summer.

Hes done under Conte for sure, but I cant see him sticking around.

In 20 years time when he sipping an ice cold cerveza in his villa on the Algarve and the kids are laughing in the pool and the barbecue is going and all his family are having a cracking time - do you think he will regret earning a good wage and not playing as much as he could?

I hope he doesn't. But I bet he won't worry overly much about Everton if he does.

Could've been a player. Now destinied to be on a list of top 10 worst premiership era buys for Chelsea or top 10 how did Everton sell him for that much lists.

The new Billy Kenny.

Yeah I think he will to be honest . Money is wonderful and if It was one or two other players in the Everton squad I’d total agree with that situation . However Barkley had the potential, perhaps little more than that , to achieve a bit more and to leave a mark . If Ross had stayed here it’s hardly likely he’d have ended up on his uppers wandering around the boozers in town looking wistfully towards the Algarve and wondering would might have been . The money was still there as was the future chance of another move maybe to a club where he we actually wanted .

I think sometimes things develop just the way everybody suspects they will and at the minute the likes of Swansea managerial appointment and Barkley’s move to Chelsea seem to be fulfilling that prophecy.

Probably get a chance pre season to impress, wouldn't write him off just yet.

Has he got it in him though? Comes across as too precious and his morale will be shattered now.

I’d have cut my leg off to be a failure at Everton, instead Ross you are not even that.
