I guess we can add this post as another example of you being mad.

having a go at someone for watching a football game featuring an ex Everton player and then trying to make out they were sat there with pen and paper taking notes just because they point out he had an ok game.

tragic stuff man

Not having a go at all, just saying you’re calling others out as “desperate” but you’re going out of your way to support the biggest rat that’s ever played for this club and get really angry when someone criticises him.

Im not going out of my way, I just don't hate the player... no big effort was required to feel like that, I just don't consider him a rat.

Im simply calling out people who post factually incorrect stuff, people who clearly aren't capable of being objective when it comes to Barkley.

Call him a rat or whatever by all means but why bother lying about his performances ? its just odd.

I watched the game and thought he was crap. Besides a touch into Alonso for the pen he did nothing. We always used to say if he had better players around him he would excel but I didn't see him excelling.

First half Huddersfield were all over Chelsea down the left which was the side Barkley was on. They took pritchard off which was a mistake and that gave Chelsea a better grip on the game.

I'm not arsed by him since he left, just find it quite sad that he's made the decision he has when it's clear as day he's going to be a bit part player at best. If Chelsea thought he was up to the job they wouldn't have brought in yet another midfielder in the window on top of the abundance of midfielders they already had plus bringing back rlc. Clear to me they bought him on the cheap and will flog him on to someone in the next year. Same old story with him though, half of blues spaffing over him the other half writing him off.

I’m not lying about his performance, I don’t have a clue how he played, I’m just going off what Chelsea fans are saying. Chelsea fans don’t have the affinity towards Barkley and are more objective, so I trust their judgement over one or two Evertonians.

So you're quite up front admitting that you're searching for confirmation bias. Fair enough, but it means everything you have to say on said topic is null and void by default.

See, I could do that too.

But I don't, because I'm not foolish.

Lol you guys love making stuff up, so sad.

I watched the entire match and he had as decent performance as the other two Chelsea midfielders. He was quiet as they all were but didn’t make any bad mistakes and was the main reason for the second penalty being given thanks to a nice touch.

The cringey stench of desperation from you all to try and make out he had a mare is tragic lol

Have a word with yourselves, proper kopite behaviour.

Crikey.

I saw tweets saying he was fine and the only posts about him on the main Chelsea forum are positive, now what ? Anyway I wasn't even aiming the post at you as I didn't even realise you'd posted saying he was toss.

Bottom line is that anyone trying to make out he was terrible is straight up chatting wham. All his ratings on performance tracking website reflect what I've said... he had an ok game, nothing amazing, nothing terrible. He played very deep for large parts of the first half as did Chelseas entire central midfield hence why they created next to nothing... and yet he still delivered a moment of class to help get the penalty.

Someone here also tried to claim he gave the ball away more than he retained it and then bizarrely doubled down on the claim when called out... reality/stats say he gave it away twice, one of which was when he was passed the ball into a cluster of players with no hope of retaining possession. Meanwhile Kante gave it away twice as many times.

He's a Judas RAT

Tubey I should make you aware that someone has clearly been hacking your account and posting in the Lukaku thread for the last 4 years.

True.

I watched the game too, he played exactly how Sarri wanted him from what I've read. Kept his shape and used the ball well, was the main player picking out forward passes in spells when they were playing from side to side.

Sarri has Kante playing further forward than all the midfield players (he played the same in France).

End of the day, he's not making lung bursting runs because he's not playing an attacking role. He's there to link the play and keep hold of the ball, which he did do. Was all Chelsea after 20mins.

If you were a Chelsea fan you'd be more worried about Morata out of everyone. Was very poor.
