Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

A year ago I would have said yes

Now I'm less sure

I suppose if it's a loan he basically gets a season to prove he deserves a proper move and we can just send him back if he disappoints

Be interesting if he got his Everton tattoos redone if he came back wouldn't it? lol
He’s bombed at Villa, so no idea why you would still even consider saying yes.
There are other younger and hungrier players about, he shouldn’t even be talked about being considered.

Isn't he going to remove his Chelsea tatts first though lol And then his bubblegum lick on Villa transfers as well.

Reportedly, he has a 'self-done' tatt on his bottom...it's a love heart with an arrow through it and two sets of initials (BJ &RB)... which can only be read the right way, in a mirror

Here we go again! So, did our ingenious staff that handle contract negotiations ever include a buy back option that suits us for him? And if they did, do we want him back? He is pretty much finished everywhere else, a backup player even at Villa with injury proneness that can be worrying. He can only revive what's left of his career at Goodison. What would the reception be if he came back?

If he doesn't come back he would be smart to go get the cash grab at China, the MLS, or another similar option, cause only Everton can revive him as a player at a serious level of football.

Maybe Beckham and the Inter Miami circus are waiting with an open hug!

Why would we want a finished player?

Just reading he hasnt been handed a squad number this season, grim that, said at the time getting 15m for Ross was brilliant buisness and I was totally correct

He's gonna need some serious help when he retires, He will one of them former players who just sits in the boozer all day. The Chelsea move was the wrong decision sure he might win a trophy or two but everyone knew he would be bombed out it was just when and now his career has gone down the drain.

Needs to go to a team that will play him every week, Unironically Newcastle would be a good fit for him..
Just as I saw this thread but before I read this post, I realized that at some point in the near future boss rarkley would be retiring and it made me feel horribly old. (Near being a relative term, but still)
