Ross Barkley

Naise has to start. He's familiar with an intense derby atmosphere and the only Everton player that bothers giving the ref a bit of verbal.

You no what that is such a good point about Naismith and Everton, it bugs me how nice Everton are at times, he is the only one who speaks up, just what we need in big games. Today is perfect for him.

I laugh at people who write Barkley off, sometimes he does look work shy but for people who say he isnt good enough for us or worth more than 20M, just get out of my face, bad farts. As for Naismith, he has rapidly went of the boil, his goals have dried up and his assists where never there for the creative hub of our midfield, while Barkley also doesnt assist you can guarantee his runs or unorthodox passes shift and move the shape of the opposition team creating chances for others.

Sounds nuts but I would love to see barkley in Barry role today , let besic and Mccarthy chase cos despite barkley lack of Want to tackle he has a good eyes for loose balls and nipping the ball slyly and retain and playmake the ball basically barkley should go pirlo

I wouldn't describe it as being in Barry's role but I do think he'd be effective deeper. I don't really think it's necessary to have 3 defensive midfielders anyway. Besic and McCarthy should be plenty of protection. Barkley would be there to link our midfield and attack. Our attacking players were all isolated today most of the time.

Yeah great play and ball to Coleman, but then less than a minute or so later,he lets the ball run under his foot and set them off on a counter attack that could have been costly, still a work in progress I think.
