Every word I said about Ross Barkley last year was true at the time...this season he is playing better and I have no problem in acknowledging this fact....in fact the whole team is playing better and with more comfort. And I'm more often right than wrong, and I express my opinion with respect towards other posters. 'Pure evil'...my goodness.What sort of childhood are you having ?

Fair enough, lets just say i was proved right about ross, while steve has let himself down a bit in sticking the knife in while a 20 year old was having a tricky period, and we can just leave it there

Amazing the animosity towards him too. Genuine hatred from some of our fans which I never understood.

He had a bad season last season but it's obvious to anyone with a bit of patience that he's a talented player. He deserved some of the criticism last season and still does for not getting stuck in at times, but he's improved massively this season.

He's got the benefit of his size and pace to make him the player he is and he's going to be one of our most important players this season and hopefully over the next 10 years. It's good to see him not hiding at all because he let the moaners get to him too much last season and he hasn't allowed that this time.

Thought he was our man of the match Saturday, just edging it ahead of Stones.

Happy to be proven wrong, he's shaken off last season and shown match winning ability.
Tough run of games coming up, let's see if he can keep up the consistency.
