Spoke to Ross last night and he'll be signing that new contract. Can't say how much but he'll be one of the top earners.

FFS I never know if your on the windup or genuine Azul. I know you know your onions and you have connections. but you love popcorn more than a fatty loves pizza. So I'm going to take this with a grain of salt and say good news

I'll level with you and say I'm probably the least connected person on here, well apart from dat fatty Goat who knows NOTHING lol.

It just about sums up the absurd like circus nature of modern English football when a young lad has a half decent season and people ask themselves in all seriousness if he will chose money over loyalty to his current club. When I watch Ross Barkley in a blue shirt I see room for masses of improvement in all area's of his game. His final ball is all too brutish when a simple straight forward deft touch would unlock that waiting glory. He labours all too often when on the ball and is easily disarmed. He has a long way to go in my eyes before being put on a pedestal

His potential is limitless tho.

Hes clearly not even close to the finished article, but when he is, hes gonna be a superstar.

Very much this.

You can understand Rooney being sold with the state the club was in at the time. But it would be absolutely criminal to sell Barkley any time soon given the current state of the club.

Indeed. We were skint and he was a little bit immature and he had his head turned by success, money and a t*at of an agent. We're in a much better position now and I'm positive that Barkley is a much more mature character than Rooney was.

When he takes the piss in Brazil and the oil money clubs take notice, be afraid!!!!!!

But to be fair it would take a silly, silly amount of money to even prick Bills ears, your talking 40m+.

Always ponder what kind of player he will turn out to be and I reckon Ballack is the best comparison. Hugely talented midfielder tat can play anywere on the park with goals in him
