"The way he kissed the badge convinced me he'll be a United player in the next 18 months"

Hilarious!

Yet to see any situation with the ball in close proximity where he does the wrong body movement. Even when it looks like there's no possible way to get it under control he comes up with some outrageous yoga bull**** and skins everyone. Unbelief skill.

Massive talent this lad. So happy we have him. There's no limit to how far he can in the game. Terrified that he'll be snapped up by a bigger club in the summer though :( hope we can stay strong cos there will surely be massive interest.

There is no bigger club than everton mate

I've been thinking this too. In the not too distant future we may well be talking about Barkley as a genuinely world class attacking midfielder, but before then there's a couple of parts of his game which could be improved, and we should be looking to him to start banging in the goals more often - at least ten a season.

Exactly what I was talking about ! We need him to be a little greedy, to demand to take those free kicks or to have a whack at goal, because there's no reason why he can't become a regular matchwinner for us.

...really don't get the impression he's wanting to go. Inevitably it will happen, but I don't think it will be anytime soon. It was different with Rooney, it was right for him but I don't get the same impression with this kid. Anyway, who would he go to? United are in transition, Man City wouldn't play him much. The only option I can think of is Chelski, unless the big Spanish Clubs make a move.

Boss to see how far he's come in the last 3 years. Remember when he came back from his leg break in a game against Manchester United U18s at Carrington, most of us on the sideline were overawed that such a talent was playing in an U18 game against 16 year old boys from United.
